Across the Lake Worth Lagoon from Ocean's Edge, the shoreline at 220 Lake Shore Drive in Lake Park has filled its calendar for the rest of the year. There is a tailgate on October 25 and a ticketed chef competition two nights later, live music on the remaining Saturdays, and two Thanksgiving menus on November 26. The restaurants are open, and their prices are posted. The marina next to them is still in court.
You can book dinner there now. Arriving by water goes through the town marina, and nobody has decided yet what that marina will become.
The building is Nautilus 220, a mixed-use waterfront project with 330 homes in two 24-story towers, plus dining, retail and office suites. According to Stet News, it received its certificate of occupancy on December 22. Forest Development and co-developer Royal Palm Companies held the grand opening and ribbon-cutting on March 25, 2026, the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County reported. That announcement described a 1.15-million-square-foot project anchored by two David Burke restaurants.
The two restaurants are meant for different kinds of evenings.
SeaHawk Prime by David Burke opened first, in January 2026, according to Stet News. Stet described a menu that runs from a $15 bread basket to a $168 Tomahawk for two. The restaurant's own site lists its address as 220 Lake Shore Dr. #101, with lunch Tuesday through Friday from noon to 3 p.m., weekend brunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and dinner hours that vary by day.
The Birdie Dockside Bar & Grill opened March 14, 2026, the Palm Beach Post reported. It is the more casual of the two. It's open noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, Monday and Thursday, noon to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The Birdie also has three professional golf simulators at $35 an hour, with a two-hour minimum and a $35-per-person food-and-beverage minimum, so two players spend at least $140 for a session.
Both restaurants advertise $5 beers and $10 cocktails at happy hour, but their schedules are different. SeaHawk Prime's runs Monday from 4 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 3 to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Birdie's happy hour runs 3 to 6:30 p.m. Its happy-hour menu lists Monday through Friday, but its homepage lists Monday, Thursday and Friday. The restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so a quick call before a midweek visit makes sense.
Neither restaurant is waiting for winter to start its season. Here is what's posted from now through Thanksgiving, as of mid-October 2026:
| Date | Event | Where | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Saturdays, Oct. 17, 24 and 31, 6–9 p.m. | Live music | The Birdie | No cover listed |
| Sunday, Oct. 25, 12:30–5 p.m. | Tailgate with barbecue buffet, $3 beers | The Birdie | $30 per person |
| Tuesday, Oct. 27, 6–8 p.m. | Beat Burke, Round 3, with a three-course dinner | The Birdie | $65, ticket required |
| Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. | Fall Festival at Sunset Celebration | Kelsey Park | Free admission and parking |
| Thursday, Nov. 26, noon–7 p.m. | Thanksgiving three-course prix fixe | SeaHawk Prime | $110 per person |
| Thursday, Nov. 26, noon–2:30 or 3–6 p.m. | Thanksgiving buffet | The Birdie | $65 per person |
The two Thanksgiving options are $45 apart before anything else is added. OpenTable's listing says the $110 SeaHawk prix fixe excludes tax, gratuity and beverages. The Birdie's version is a buffet with two fixed seatings, and its menu notes that items may change.
The Fall Festival on October 30 is the only free item on the list. The town describes Sunset Celebration as a Kelsey Park evening with live entertainment, food and arts-and-crafts vendors. The town calendar gives a 6 p.m. start but no end time.
The October 27 event has the strongest tie back to Singer Island. The Birdie's Beat Burke series pairs David Burke with a guest chef for a live cooking competition while diners eat a three-course meal. In Round 3, Burke faces Chef Asif Syed of AYRE by Karma at Amrit Ocean Resort. AYRE is on Singer Island, according to a 2026 Palm Beaches roundup on PR Newswire. The menu has not been posted yet. The page says it will be announced closer to the date and that tickets are required for entry.
Ocean's Edge residents can try AYRE any night on their own side of the bridge. The October 27 dinner is a chance to see that kitchen cook against Burke's on the far side of the lagoon, just over two weeks from today.
Many people will look across the lagoon at a marina-front restaurant and assume they can pull up to it by boat. Neither venue publishes a guest-dock or walk-up tie-up policy. In February, Stet News reported that the condo owners were negotiating with the town for designated restaurant dockage, and the sources gathered here show no outcome from those talks. The documented way to arrive by boat is a separate reservation at Lake Park Harbor Marina, which is next to Nautilus 220 and run by the town.
Here is what the town publishes about the marina:
The marina doesn't publish a single current transient rate. The Dockwa reservation page asks for vessel length, height, draft and dates before it shows a price. A boater planning to arrive for the Thanksgiving buffet would need two reservations, one with the restaurant and one with the town.
The town was asked to make that second reservation part of a larger plan. Forest Development's 99-year lease package was reported to cover town waterfront land and the marina, with plans for a hotel, a restaurant and a boat-storage facility, Stet News reported in January. That report also covered Forest's lawsuit accusing the town of moving too slowly on its obligations under the leases.
In August, the dispute moved toward the town. A Palm Beach County Circuit Court judge, Darren Shull, ruled that Lake Park violated the Sunshine Law in 2021 and 2022 when it selected Forest to take over the marina, Stet News reported. The judge found that the town held eight closed-door meetings on the proposal between March 2021 and October 2022. He called the violations unintentional and assessed no civil fine.
Stet News quoted Mayor Roger Michaud as saying that "going forward, the town of Lake Park is committed to a transparent public process should it elect to discuss the redevelopment of the Lake Park Harbor Marina." That ruling did not settle the leases themselves, which were signed in 2023 and 2024. Stet reported that the town filed an April 3 counterclaim saying the violations make those leases void. Town Attorney Tom Baird's office is preparing a motion asking the same judge to dismiss Forest's lawsuit.
For a resident planning a fall evening, the practical point is limited. The restaurants have posted their dates and prices through November 26. The marina is still a town facility, and it still takes transient reservations by phone. The court has not yet decided who will run that waterfront next or what will be built there, and no date for that decision has been published.
